I am a first-generation Greek/Cypriot American with deep roots in the language and culture I love sharing with others.Greek was my first language, and my many visits to Greece and Cyprus have strengthened not only my language skills, but also my understanding of the expressions, cultural nuances, and everyday interactions that make travel more meaningful.Today, along with my coaching practice, I teach practical Greek to travelers who want more than a phrasebook. I combine my experience in training, education, coaching, and learning design to create personalized lessons that build confidence, encourage connection, and make travel in Greece more meaningful.Students describe me as patient, creative, engaging, knowledgeable, and skilled at adapting lessons to their individual needs.

    ▼ Read More About My Story & CompanyMy mother was born on the island of Samos, Greece, and my father was born in Cyprus. Their families gave me a deep appreciation for the Greek language, culture, and traditions that continue to shape my life and teaching.Growing up, Greek was the primary language spoken at home. When I started Kindergarten, it was the only language I knew. Although English became my primary language as I grew older, my connection to Greek never faded.Through my family’s heritage and many visits to Greece and Cyprus, I learned that language is about much more than vocabulary and grammar. It is about expressions, customs, and the connections we create with others.My mother later began teaching Greek, and together my parents founded a Greek School at St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church. After they retired, I became co-director and transformed the school into an integrated learning program that supported different learning styles. Participation increased by 300%, reinforcing my belief that people learn best when lessons are personalized and engaging.
